Over the holidays I am trying to pry myself away from my laptop and enjoy the time with family and friends.

After all last year my sister guest posted on my site the 10 Reasons My Sister Will Be Missed as I was in Cuenca Ecuador but this year I am back!

I did want to wish everyone a happy holidays and I couldn’t pick just one video to share with you so I’m sharing them all.

My favourite of all the carols, it’s powerful and reminds me of Christmas. I would only attempt to sing it after a few holiday cocktails.

This one is just weird but it makes me laugh.

I have always loved this song, who doesn’t love Boney M? I had no idea what it was saying in Spanish and finally this year I do.

My all time favourite Christmas song, it reminds me of my childhood and coming home for Christmas.

So what about you? What is your favourite Christmas song?

I am actually listening to the Randy Travis Christmas album right now (partly because it is the only Christmas music on my laptop). I normally hate country music, but there is something about traditional country style that is perfect for Christmas music.

    Enjoy your time at home!

    1. Don’t have shame. We have Justin Bieber on our play list too.

Our excuse is that he’s Canadian.

  4. I…can’t…stand…Boney M….or Abba. And I’m sure I’m not alone!

    1. Whaaaa, there’s nothing like Rasputin to get you going at the gym.

    2. How can you not LOVE LOVE LOVE Abba and Boney M. Think how empty the world would be without them. “If you change your mind, I’m the first in line…”

We’re rocking out to the Nutcracker Suite in Las Vegas.

Just walked through the casino and they were playing one about being home with family for the holidays … which cracked us up. The casino is the only family you need!

  6. I love Angels We Have Heard on High.

I loved the post from your sister last year! “Ayngelina will come hairy and grey” hahaha.

Miss you, so glad you are home for Christmas!

    Feliz Navidad amiga bonita!

  8. My favorite Christmas carol is God Rest Yea Merry Gentlemen. It’s got a morbid edge that appeals to my Eighties worldview (Bladerunner, Siousxie Sioux, etc). It even mentions Satan. Gotta love it!

I can see that, although I was born in 77 so may be too young to understand your world view 😉

  9. Igualmente!

Mi favorito cancion de la Navidad es “O Holy Night.”

Ooh I forgot about Charlie Brown, those are good too.

      Merry Christmas!

  12. I hope you had a great Christmas with your family!

I like all sort of Christmas music. But some of my favorites include “What Child is This” (AKA “Greensleeves”) and “Wonderful Christmastime” by Paul McCartney. It never truly feels like the Christmas season for me until I’ve heard the latter in a department store.

    1. Ayngelina Author says:

I don’t know the Paul McCartney one, must download that.

  13. Merry Christmas to you, family and friends.

  14. Lovely. 🙂 Glad you were with loved ones during Christmas, hun.
