Day 52: Utila, Honduras

Having enough of the Mexican sun, Mr. Bacon decided to rejoin me on the trip and brought along Geof and Curious George for an 8-day vacation through Honduras.

Seeing those familiar faces made me feel like I was on vacation too.

As strange as it seems, this trip feels more like living than vacationing and I needed a bit of a break – I know, a round of tissues for everyone feeling sorry for me.

Monsieur Tofu also came along and while he and Mr. Bacon are arch enemies, they seemed to set aside the gloves for a while to have a few Honduran drinks although I think they may have gotten out of hand.

  1. They both look like jerks….they deserve each other

  2. Carmie Brogan says:

I wanted to hear the song playing in the background….glad to see that you have your travelling companion back and he appears to like to drink..perhaps he originates from Cape Breton!

  3. I don’t know – Mr. Tofu just seems kind of smug and angry.

But I wanna party with YOU, Mr. Bacon!

  4. Kristy Wellwood says:

    Love it!

  5. I like the song reference… it’s reminiscent of the throwback prom I never had. *sigh*

PS. Mr. Bacon sketches me out… the best kind of bacon is the one you eat… there’s something peculiar about him… and his eyebrows…

  6. Monsieur Tofu says:

I must have been really drunk that night because I never would’ve let that disgusting, fatty piece of cured meat anywhere near me if I was sober. Now I know what that nasty smell was the next day when I woke up.
