One of the reasons I decided to start shooting video was that I have never really felt like my writing has reflected the spirit of where I stay.
Sure I can share the photos and explain stories of people I meet but something is always missing.
I haven’t really been doing much of anything in Canoa. I’ve spent most days on the beach, meeting locals, making friends and learning about the food.

I’ve been here so long some of the kids run up to me shouting my name, friend ask if I’ll be out that night for drinks and I have this crazy dog I call Señor Loco, who excitedly barks like crazy as he follows me around.
I really love it here.
But it’s hard to share all of this in words, how waking up each day makes me smile. I somehow hope this video helps explain just
